This site was born out of my love for Baltimore; there really is a reason why it's called Charm City. I am on a mission to discover Baltimore's best events, food, deals and places to explore, so I'm documenting my excursions through the city that I love. The name, Bailtimore, stems from my name, Bailey... I'll be your tour guide.
In the wake of Black Friday, and before Cyber Monday, an altruistic consumer holiday has emerged – Small Business Saturday. I’m sharing a few of my favorite stores in Baltimore, along with some cool events and deals that local businesses are offering this Saturday, Nov. 25.
There is a ton to do in Baltimore during Christmastime; so much that I’m planning to have a different post each week. I thought I would start off the holiday series with a few ways to kick off the holiday season. And the best part? They’re all free! Check them out below, and feel free to share any events that you’re looking forward to this holiday season in the comments.
The holidays are for giving! (Although the insane consumerism we experience from the day after Halloween until Christmas may suggest otherwise. Sorry, Grinch moment over.) This time of year serves as a great reminder that we should be giving back to our community and helping those who may otherwise go without this season.
It's hard to miss the beauty of fall in Baltimore, thanks to the city's dozens of parks. Here are a few photos I snapped throughout the season.
Sometimes you want to use a Ravens game as an excuse to party… other times you are looking for the comradery of your fellow fans, or maybe you just want an excuse not to make dinner. Whatever your mood, there’s a Ravens Bar to match.
Are you dating a hop head? Not someone who likes to drink a case of natty light – but someone who enjoys good quality beer? The beer aficionado date should be right up their alley.
Since this is the inaugural post, I thought I’d start out with a date for the Baltimore newbie. Think of this as the Cliff Notes of Baltimore… you get the point, but you don’t get the full experience. And that’s okay, Rome wasn’t built in a day – and hopefully there’s a second date to explore more of Baltimore.
Eating healthy is easier said than done. I always have good intentions to go grocery shopping and eat healthy, but sometimes it’s easier to OrderUp Chik Fil A instead.
In my quest to eat more fruits and veggies I stumbled upon Hungry Harvest.
It's Baltimore Restaurant Week! From Jan. 13 - 22, you can visit top Baltimore restaurants to try two-course lunch and brunch menus for under $20, and three-course dinner menus for under $35.
34th Street is a full city block of houses covered from top to bottom in holiday lights. You can learn more about the history of 34th Street by visiting ChristmasStreet.com
