Christmas is usually my favorite time of year, but for some reason this year I haven't been in "the spirit" as much as usual. So, to get over my Scrooge-attitude, I headed to Hampden's 34th Street. 34th Street is a full city block of houses covered from top to bottom in holiday lights. You can learn more about the history of 34th Street by visiting christmasstreet.com.
Here are a few pictures I snapped at my visit earlier this week -- it was FREEZING! The coldest day of the year so far, at about 15 degrees. So, I didn't spend as much time as I usually would trying to capture the magic of Christmas. But to really feel the magic you have to visit yourself in person.
If you're looking for a holiday activity in Baltimore, 34th Street tops my list!
